High School Play -- Opening Night

Whew! Opening night of the high school play! The kids did AWESOME!!! Sarah helped with hair, make-up, backstage work and was "the right side legs" of the "sinking ship!"

We're so happy you've stopped by for a visit! A little bit about us. Kevin and Debbi were high school sweethearts who married in 1990. In 2005 we applied for the opportunity to adopt. In 2007 we received word that we had become parents! Our daughter was 13-3/4 years old and waiting for us in China.
Today, Sarah is a 16 year old high school student, Kevin is a professor at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS, and Debbi is a stay-at-home mom and wife. We also have a crazy 1-1/2 year old cat named Romeo.
We can't even begin to tell you how our lives were changed for the better because of adoption!
We are overjoyed that so many families have found this blog during their journey to adopt an older child from China ... or because you are looking to adopt domestically or internationally. Now matter why you're here, we're happy you stopped by!

I love her room! Did you paint the window frame above her bed or did she? Very nice touch.
